`wifi-connect` step hangs on Pi Zero connected via ethernet gadget

When this hangs, the Pi Zero then isn't accessible over the USB ethernet anymore.

Probably because that step forces connman to be used which messes up the gadget ethernet interface?

There's some info about tethering over the USB gadget so this might be fixable.
