Welcome to the official GitHub organization of Coderride!
We are a newly founded, student-run developer community at Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science and Technology. We're starting from scratch with a single goal: to build a collaborative space where students can level up their programming skills, compete, and eventually launch impactful projects together.
🌱 We're just getting started! If you're a student here, you are joining at the ground floor. No prior experience is required—just curiosity and willingness to learn.
Our marquee annual tech fest is Code Storm — our campus showdown bringing together builders, algorithmic thinkers, and problem solvers.
Code Storm features 4 competitive timed contests:

| 💻 N-Code | DSA | Compete to solve algorithmic problems the fastest. |
| 🌐 Blind Code | DSA | Write code to solve simple problems except one tiny twist, the monitors will be turned off until time ends. |
| 🔍 Query | Databases | Write SQL queries to get the required output from tables. |
| 💡 Web Dev | Design & Code | Built beautiful frontend websites using HTML, CSS and JS, without the comfort of intellisense. |
There will be three winners from each contest. The winners will be given winning certificates and prizes.
Contestants are advised to contact event coordinators to get more information on the contest and prizes. The data here may be outdated at your time of reading.
You don't need to be a 10x developer to be here. We need:
- Coders: To test contest problems, write solutions, and build our upcoming platforms.
- Designers: To work on UI/UX for our event pages and club branding.
- Documentation & Content Leads: To help write guides, contest write-ups, and learning material.
If you've never submitted a Pull Request or cloned a repo before, reach out on our Discord or contact one of our lead members. We'd love to walk you through your first commit!
