Summary
Resolves audit finding H-01 ("Unbound context_rule_ids Allow Rule Selection Downgrade After Signature Collection") in the Smart Account module.
Previously, context_rule_ids was passed separately inside AuthPayload without being bound to the payload hash/digest committed to by signers. This allowed a relaying entity or sponsor to alter context_rule_ids after signatures were collected, enforcing a weaker or unintended context rule without invalidating signatures.
Changes Included
Bound context_rule_ids to AuthDigestPreimage:
Updated AuthDigestPreimage struct in storage.rs to include context_rule_ids: Vec<u32>.
Ensures both external (Signer::External) and delegated (Signer::Delegated) signers explicitly authorize the selected rule IDs as part of the digest preimage (preimage.digest(e) / require_auth_for_args).
Enforced Signer Scope in do_check_auth:
Validates that every provided signer in AuthPayload belongs to at least one of the selected context rules.
Rejects unauthorized or stray signers with SmartAccountError::UnauthorizedSigner before signature authentication or policy enforcement.
Updated Spec & Documentation:
Documented the preimage digest structure and authentication flow in mod.rs and storage.rs.
Affected Files
packages/accounts/src/smart_account/mod.rs
packages/accounts/src/smart_account/storage.rs
Verification & Testing
Validated with unit tests ensuring that changing context_rule_ids after signature generation invalidates external and delegated verification.

add_context_rule,add_signer, andbatch_add_signercan now storeSigner::Delegated(e.current_contract_address()).do_check_authpasses that signer toauthenticate, which callsaddr.require_auth_for_args((preimage,)). The repository documents that this self-call can be approved without a key. A matching rule can therefore authorize operations without an external signer, contrary to the documented restriction.Restore the shared validation helper and call it from all three storage entrypoints.
