FreePort order #15: bond charged but trade stuck at step 1/4 #2758
Subject: FreePort order #15 — bond charged, interface stuck at step 1/4, unable to reach support
Hi RoboSats team,
I need help with an unresolved issue involving FreePort, order #15.
On September 11 at 20:07 Madrid time, I paid the 8,829-sat taker bond to buy €200 worth of BTC via Bizum.
The interface never advanced beyond step 1/4 (“Lock 8,829 Sats to TAKE order”). The order then appeared as expired, while the contract continued asking me to pay the same bond. It also repeatedly displayed “Loading coordinator info…”. Refreshing and switching from Nostr to API did not resolve the issue.
The payment remained pending for hours and then changed to CONFIRMED in my wallet. However, the contract is still stuck at step 1/4. I never reached the payout invoice or trading chat stage and received no BTC.
I emailed FreePort several days ago but have received no reply. I also tried joining the official RoboSats SimpleX support group, but the connection remains pending, saying it will connect when the group link host’s device is online. I therefore cannot access support there either.
Could you please:
Help me contact FreePort and investigate the order logs.
Explain why the bond was settled instead of released.
Check whether an automatic timeout penalty was applied while my interface was stuck.
Arrange a refund of the 8,829 sats if the bond was charged because of this technical issue.
This screenshot shows that the 8,829-sat bond payment was confirmed in my wallet, although the order expired and the contract remained stuck at step 1/4.
