ADVd12 is a fork of the Marlin Firmware for Wanhao D12 printers.
Working on ADVd12 takes a significant amount of time and effort. I do my best to release high-quality software, along with useful and precise documentation. I track bugs reported by users and reply to support requests. I also invest time and money to implement new hardware features.

The objectives of this custom firmware (when compared with the Wanhao stock firmware) are as follows:
- Fix known bugs, such as the Y-axis moving in the wrong direction on some printers (based on the MKS Robin Nano 1.2), and contribute fixes back to Marlin by submitting pull requests.
- Provide improved screens that are clearer, easier to read, well-structured, and that use graphics instead of small text.
- Provide complete online documentation.
- Offer support and pre-compiled binaries to project supporters on Patreon (via a Discourse server).
- Enable Marlin features that are not enabled in the stock firmware (for example, the emergency parser).
- Base ADVd12 on the latest available version of Marlin (currently: 2.1.3-beta.3).
- Deliver an open-source firmware (GPLv3 for Marlin, CC BY-NC-SA for the assets).
- Initially support MKS Robin Nano V1.2 and V1.3 boards and then extend support to other boards (V3.0, V3.1, V3.2).
- Start with simple configurations (such as systems without a Wi-Fi module) and then extend support progressively.
- Provide a firmware comparable in quality and features to my other project (ADVi3++).
