release compatible with the package’s Blueprint 17 peer range, or update the
Blueprint dependency and resolution together if moving to Blueprint 18; ensure
consumers can satisfy all advertised peer ranges.
Review comments at @src/elements/content-explorer/MetadataViewContainer.tsx:
- Around line 90-99: Update the value transformation in the
MetadataViewContainer logic to preserve float range filters submitted as enum
entries. Before flattening enum values, detect a float entry whose value
contains a range and transform it into the corresponding range filter,
preserving its advancedFilterOption when present; keep the existing enum
flattening behavior for other entries.

Do you also need to upgrade @box/metadata-filter, @box/types, and @box/item-icon based on @box/metadata-view 2.4.14 requirements as well?

Maybe at some point, but not in this PR. Right now it's just about getting as much onto Blueprint Web 18 as possible, and we'll mess with the other peer dependencies after.

Since there is a breaking change for @box/metadata-view and removed the optional field selectionCount, does that mean the consumer that pass in selectionCount Metadata View in Content Explorer will now break after this change? If so, should the PR be a breaking change PR and should this be called out?
ex. after this change, the below will break:
<ContentExplorer
metadataViewProps={{
headerProps: {
selectionCount: 3,
},
}}
/>

Technically, yeah, that's a change in contract from the shared feature, but I don't think it counts as a breaking change at the element level. I don't know that we ever meant for the consumer of the shared feature to set it. Additionally, it wasn't used in the element anyway.
