Modify data with expression

Operations -> Modify with expression

Allows to apply arithmetic, logical or any other script operation to selected values.

Can operate on bytes, words and dwords.

You can use any valid script expression to modify selected elements. For example:

• x & 0xFF0000 applied to dwords of image will leave only RED channel
• (x<32) ? 0x2E : x applied to bytes will replace all unprintable characters with dots
• x ^ p will XOR selected bytes with specified pattern (pattern is repeated if it's shorter then selection)
• i % 4 + 1 will fill selection with repeating sequence 01 02 03 04 01 02 03 04 ...
