Devices will stop cloning this repo and instead download the whole store as one archive from store.futohome.com, which serves the latest store bundle at /download/store. This updates the glossary to match:

  • Store: now this repo's master as published, unpacked on the device, instead of "this repository as cloned on a device".
  • Store bundle (new): the single archive a device downloads, which names the commit it was made from.

Glossary only; no tooling changes. Draft until the device change is scheduled.

Defines the store and downloadable store bundle terminology.

No findings

Confidence 5/5 · low risk: The change edits only glossary definitions in CONTEXT.md, with no effect on code, tooling or runtime behavior.

Summary

The glossary now describes the store as published content unpacked on a device rather than a repository clone. It introduces a commit-identified store bundle without changing tooling or the existing app-release terminology.

What's good

  • Distinguishes store bundles from app releases and app-data snapshots.
  • Explicitly identifies the source commit as the device's store identity.
