[BUG / possible BUG] Shellcheck issue SC2154

Shellcheck notes that $sec_client_renego is referenced but not assigned. This appears to have happened as a result of #2632. The variable is only used in a few lines that output "FIXME" information, so fixing this is just about making the "FIXME" information better.
