Deploy

Pushing to main builds and deploys through the Deploy GitHub Actions workflow, which needs two repository secrets:

• CLOUDFLARE_API_TOKEN - a token with the "Edit Cloudflare Workers" permissions
• CLOUDFLARE_ACCOUNT_ID - the account ID from the Cloudflare dashboard

To deploy by hand:

make deploy

The Worker serves build/ as static assets. wrangler.jsonc holds the routing rules: URLs have no trailing slash, and unmatched paths get 404.html. Redirects live in static/_redirects.

Create a post

make post

This creates a new markdown file in src/content/posts/.

Layout

• src/content/posts/ - posts and standalone pages, one markdown file each
• src/pages/ - routes: the homepage, the [slug] page route, and the RSS feed
• src/layouts/App.astro - the BeOS desktop window chrome every page shares
• static/ - files served from the site root (app.css, desktop.js, images, icons, _redirects)
• wrangler.jsonc - Cloudflare Workers config for serving the built site

Handy commands

Add missing /img/ to markdown image paths for one page:

sed 's/!\[\(.*\)](/![\1](\/img\//g' afternoon-with-arduino.md

Add missing /img/ to all markdown files in the current directory:

sed -i -- 's/!\[\(.*\)](/![\1](\/img\//g' *.md
